What this is (and what it isn't)
The Moon moves through a cycle every month (new, waxing, full, waning) and the phase it was in on the day you were born is a small, poetic marker of rhythm. Comparing two people's birth phases is a nice way to think about timing and tempo: whether you tend to begin things or complete them, gather or release.
What it is not is a verdict. Plenty of sites will tell you a matching moon phase means you are soulmates or twin flames. Vela won't, because that is fortune-telling dressed up as certainty. We read this as a mirror, never a prediction: a conversation starter between two people, nothing more and nothing less.
