Vela Libra horoscope for Tuesday 13 October 2026
Written from today’s sky
A waxing crescent Moon in Scorpio, and Venus, your ruling planet, is in exile there, retrograde. Yours is the instinct for balance and the other, the grace that seeks fairness and beauty between people. Venus turns inward now, and old affections and old costs tend to resurface for a second look. Who or what from before is asking to be reconsidered rather than simply resented?
A lens for reflection, never a prediction. New reflection each day.
The sign itself: 23 September to 22 October
Libra is cardinal air, an initiating sign whose instrument is the relationship itself: it starts things by bringing people into balance. Ruled by Venus, it treats fairness as a form of beauty and beauty as a form of fairness; a jarring room and a jarring argument bother it in the same place. Its gift is genuinely seeing the other side; its tuition fee is the self that can go quiet while everyone else is being accommodated. As a Sun sign, Libra colours a life around partnership, proportion, and taste. As a Moon sign, it settles through harmony; conflict costs it sleep that others don’t lose. As a rising sign, it opens graciously, reads the social weather instantly, and rarely picks the fight first.
In short: Air by element, cardinal by mode, ruled in the modern scheme by Venus. If Libra is your Sun, it colours what a life is trying to become: what a Libra Sun means. If it’s your Moon rather than your Sun, it shapes what safety feels like more than what you’re building: what a Libra Moon means. If it’s your rising, it’s the door people meet first: what Libra rising means. Not sure which you are? Cast your whole chart free. A reading written from your chart beats one written for a twelfth of everyone.
Libra in relationship
In relationship, Libra tends to love through attunement, reading the other side so well it can misplace its own. Its opposite axis is Aries: the accommodator facing the declarer, and the question that axis keeps asking is whose want gets said out loud first.
